Hi,
I’m Nathalie
I’m Registered Holistic Nutritionist, coffee shop lover, self-care enthusiast, and true believer there is no such thing as too many plants :) I grew up bilingual (French-English) with a Swiss-German mother and a French father on a farm in a small town outside of Ottawa. Now, I’m currently living abroad in Italy.

Over the years I've become deeply passionate about women's health, cyclical living, intuitive eating, innate wisdom and moving in a way that feels good. I have traveled around the world (lived in 4 countries) and immersed myself in so many different cultures that broadened my horizons and influenced the way I eat, the way I think and the way I move for the better. It was during this time that I started to read up on nutrition and discovered my passion for holistic health – the interconnection of body, mind and spirit for optimal health and wellness.
Not long after, I was enrolled at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Vancouver and started dealing with my own chronic health issues like IBS, leaky gut, constant bloating, tummy aches, lower back pain, adrenal fatigue and hormonal imbalances. The latter started after coming off the birth control pill – I lost my periods (amenorrhea) and felt confused and in the dark without any answers. I started experiencing symptoms like acne, weight gain/muscle loss, mood swings, major anxiety, depression, insomnia, hair loss, water retention, low energy and more. I had never experienced anything like it. I felt like I had no control on anything – my emotions, my body, my thoughts…

I'm focusing my practice around hormonal health because sometimes hormones get out of balance and many women are unaware of the profound impact of hormones on mood, weight, energy levels, sleep, appetite, libido, fertility and so much more. We are not encouraged or taught to get in tune with our bodies causing all sorts of unwanted hormonal symptoms at one point in our lives. Some of them we think are normal and are just part of being a woman – PMS anyone? With proper nutrition, supplements and supportive lifestyle changes, I personally experienced the profound impact of holistic nutrition on my hormones. I believe that understanding our bodies natural monthly rhythm and living in balance is key to hormonal health.

My own health struggles did not only bring me into my career as a holistic nutritionist but it has also given me greater understanding on how to help other women with their own struggles. It has inspired me to support women who feel stuck and empower them by taking their health into their own hands. However, I understand that nutrition has become unnecessarily complicated over the years. With the overwhelming amount of information on the web, it can be more confusing than enlightening when searching for answers. With your life already overflowing with work, family and pursuing your dreams, I can be the knowledgeable voice that guides you towards a natural and balanced way of living where you can become more productive, emotionally stable, confident and at home in your body.
My mission is to bring your body and mind back into a natural state of flow, to get yourself out of your own way and into a life that feels aligned and in harmony with your true purpose.
