What to Expect working with a Holistic Nutritionist

It means so much to have you here! This means you are either thinking of working with a holistic nutritionist, curious to learn more about this practice/taking a natural approach to health, or wondering what a session with me entails. Whichever one, it is exciting as this suggests you are interested in taking a proactive approach to your current and future state of health! Something to be so thrilled about!   

  

As a qualified Holistic Nutritionist, I am trained to search for the root cause of your health concerns by placing an emphasis on getting to know your health history, personal experience, and identifying any current nutritional imbalances. My goal is to connect with you on a whole level (body, mind, spirit) to develop a unique nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement protocol to bring your body back into a state of balance where you can feel healthier, happier, and your optimal self.   

  

Now, what might your first session with a Holistic Nutritional Consultant look like?  

  

After booking your initial consultation, you will be asked to fill out a series of detailed forms. This is to get some insight on your main health concern(s), health history, current symptoms, aspects of your current lifestyle and dietary patterns, and more prior to our session. I love this part of the consultation; I get to know you better, get a sense of who you are and what your personal health goals & needs are. We will go into even more depth during our first intake appointment.     

  

During the initial consultation, we spend a full hour* going through the information that was provided on these forms to assess and identify imbalances. It's a free-flowing conversation that will help me get an idea about your health habits and what's happening in the body. I want to understand what has brought you where you are today. I want to hear about your story, your experience, and your perspective because I truly believe all the answers are within. No one knows your body more than you do, and I'm here to help you tap into your own power and become your own health advocate. It's a non-judgmental and safe space with one focus, to get you feeling better and at home in your body. You can expect to leave this session with a few recommendations to work on in the short term.  

  

After the consultation, I will create a nutrition plan with all the information provided that fits your lifestyle and health goals. You are unique, so I work around your preferences and body to create the best-suited plan for you. We will then go over this nutrition plan in an additional one-hour* appointment so that you have all the information you need, along with the education to apply these changes. I will become your partner in your healing journey and make myself available to answer any questions along the way. I understand this all can be quite overwhelming when starting out and I am here to support you every step of the way!
